Saturn's night side glows warmly in this Cassini image, bathed in light reflected from the rings.

I'm having trouble processing that image. It looks like a lip, but I know it's shading. I can make out the rings...I guess that's the main reference point I need.

A victim of the eye's tendency to perceive 'darker' and 'further away' as the same thing, whereas in this image, the darker part of Saturn is the closest. :-P
