Interesting - British broccoli looks leggier than ours. I'm blogging on apples today myself. I missed Friday Vegetable Blogging, so I opted for Saturday Fruit Blogging instead. :)
Oh wait, now I see in your comment that it's broccolini (appropriately, since it is lean-y compared to actual broccoli :) You were close though - closer than the waitress that told me their mixed vegetables had both "green and white broccoli" - the "white broccoli" being cauliflower.
