Forgotten London: A Picture of Life in the 1920s - Elizabeth Drury, Philippa Lewis
A collection of photographs taken from the contemporary book Wonderful London, and provided with modern commentary. Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin.
off topic? apologizes, but, Pacian...ever read Patrick O'Brian? excellent stuff--it is a pleasure see such quality in fiction, let alone so-called "genre" stuff...and have just re-read Greg Benford's "Great Sky River" --opening sequence is magnificent, and entire series is quite good
Not much topic to be on around here, but even so I'd definitely say books qualify.
Great Sky River sounds absolutely awesome, so I will look into it. Patrick O'Brian wrote historical naval novels, from what I can see? Something I am half interested in, but not sure it's entirely my cup of tea...

Most interesting indeed!
@Z: I am definitely planning on reading more MiƩville.
@Gnome: Indeed! And possibly related to something you might care about!
