Found on Flickr, I swear this is the same squirrel that once harassed me as I sat in that very park reading a paper and eating lunch. He came and stood on my shoe at one point, and then followed close after me when I fled in terror.
If pigeons are rats with wings, squirrels are wingless pigeons.

Depends on how needy they are...
We had a tame squirrel at the lake when I was l ittle and we'd often play tug of war with him...tie a string to a peanut and then have a tug of war. Lots of fun.
Never had a problem with them, but my Dad would always bluster and shake his fist at them as they's steal the pink insulation out of the shed...
But a too needy squirrel would be a pest...like the pigeons in the park who demand you sandwich.
Cute little guy tho.
Stood on your shoe? That is quite unacceptable. Where's Cat when you need him?
At least they don't crap on your head as pigeons are wont to do.
Sounds like Trigger Happy TV. Attack Squirrels.
Couldn't repress a giggle. Though I had one thundering along a tin roof next to me once.
Can you make pie out of a squirrel?

A-ha! That explains the phenomenon of 'flying squirrels...'
