C.E.J. Pacian presents the world's first liquid-fuelled rocket-blog: trapped in a hyperbolic orbit to nowhere in particular.
Happy birthday! I'd quite like to be 24 again - but in other ways, not really. :-). Well I would like to be 24, but still be where I am today in my capacity as Director of the Mammoth.... oh wait. That was just my imagination.
Aw. Happy birthday :(
Happy birthday dear Pacian! Long may your fur be fluffy and your reflexes sharp. (I shall be fifty in six months. THAT is old, 24 is not even in the warmups to be practicing for starting to consider being old.)
You're older than you've ever been. And now you're even older. And now you're even older. And now you're older still.Time does move more slowly in relative proportion to your current age as you get older. I will never again be twice your age. My cousin tells me sixty is easier than fifty, which was easier than forty. I remember feeling old at 25, a very real phenomenon.
Happiest of happy birthdays...and don't even think about age. It's all relative. As my friend Heather says, I've turned 24 about 10 times now...I wore black all day at 25...and now, it doesn't phase me at all anymore.Best not to think about it :)Enjoy. Have a beer. Hug a cat.
I'd love to be 24 again - I'll trade you! Oh wait, if 24 is too old, then my age would definitely seem ancient, since you are less than half my age - I hope that makes you feel a little younger and better off. Only now I'm feeling a little ancient - but only on the outside. My inner child still refuses to grow up, let alone old...Happy Birthday, Pacian - hope you have a fabulous year!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :)And since I shall be turning a depressingly mature 32 next month - I know exactly how you feel, and yet have absolutely no sympathry for you! ;) But, as they say, getting another year older is better than the alternative. I don't know who "they" are, but I choose to believe they are right - so .... Happy B-day you Old Man, LOL:)
Hey Happy Birthday!Yes, I know I'm late, but here's a cookie. Oh, and 24 is too young by any standard anyway...
Thanks, you lot.:-)
